We are looking for a Temporary Accountant to undertake a variety of accounting tasks and responsibilities during the absence a staff member on leave. The ideal candidate will be familiar with all aspects of financial management, including accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting. The Temporary Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining monthly accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling accounts.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant or similar role, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
• CPA certification or relevant professional qualification is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
